Concerning doing business with the capitalist world, Vladimir Lenin famously (and apocryphally) remarked: “They will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.”

Ninety years later, the situation hasn’t changed. Yes, there’s a different totalitarian ideology bent on world domination, but it’s still in the market for rope.
