Earlier this year Times fashion writer Guy Trebay declared 17-year-old Catherine McNeil to be “fashion’s latest crush,” citing her photo shoots for Mario Testino, her campaigns for Hugo Boss and Dolce & Gabbana, and her sudden status as the sought-after runway model. McNeil has lived on the Lower East Side since moving from Australia in February and can often be found at expat hangout Ruby’s wolfing chicken burgers like her mom used to make. “It’s chicken breast, and you can put lettuce and sweet chili sauce and stuff on it,” she explains. Gisele Bundchen Launches Flip Flop Line Drawing Attention to Conscious Use of Water

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has designed a new line of rubber sandals for Ipanema brand, and for its presentation and advertising campaign, they have chosen to raise awareness about conscious use of water.

The model and brand are supporting a campaign by The Akatu Institute to protect the water of the Xingu river, which flows into the Amazon and is suffering from the deforestation in the region. They are also driving attention and supporting organizations such as WWF's Springs from Brazil and Mananciais, which is protecting several water resources near the Sao Paulo state.

NBC has announced that Hot Fashion Model Maria Menounos of the Today Show and Access Hollywood will host the new reality competition series Clash of the Choirs. Choirmasters for the show are Michael Bolton, Patti LaBelle, Nick Lachey, Kelly Rowland and Blake Shelton.

“I’m delighted to be a part of such a great show, it’s just what the holidays are all about – family-fun and giving. I use to be in a choir myself growing up and I can’t wait to see these hometown choirs come to life on stage,” said Menounos.

Maria Menounos was named one of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful in 2004. Menounos has appeared in several movies, such as the romantic comedy “Kickin It Old Skool” and the comic book movie “Fantastic Four.” She also has a cameo in the upcoming Ben Stiller comedy, “Tropic of Thunder.”
