Latest Miss Earth 2010 Press Conference

Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry of Philippines , Miss Earth 2009 Larissa Ramos of Brazil, Miss Earth Philippines 2010 Psyche Resus arrived in Vietnam on the afternoon of October 15th to promote the Miss Earth 2010 in Vietnam later this year.

In the moring of October 16th they and Luu Thi Diem Huong, Miss Vietnam World 2010 and Miss Vietnam for Miss Earth 2010, attended a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City with the organizing committee of Miss Earth 2010. From November 4th, Miss Earth 2010 Contestants will begin to arrive in Vietnam for 2010 Miss Earth activities. From 17 to 22 of October, these beauties queen will visit Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Nha Trang, Phú Yên… to investigate the places for Miss Earth 2010 activities and taking part in environment protection activities. They will leave Vietnam on October 23rd.

Miss Earth 2010 Press Conference

The Press Conference of the Miss Earth 2010 was held this morning Wednesday August 25th at the White Palace Convention Center in Phu Nhuan, Ho Chi Minh City. Miss Earth 2009 Larissa Ramos, Miss Earth Air 2009 Sandra Seifer, Miss Earth Philippines 2010 Psyche Resus and Viet beauties attended the Press Conference.

According to the Organizing Committee, the activities of Miss Earth 2010 will be held from November 4th to December 4th in various provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City (Nov. 4-13), Phan Thiet (Nov. 15-17), Hoi An (Nov. 17-19), Nha Trang.

The Finale will be held in Nha Trang on December 4th. The contestants will compete in 4 events; Ao Dai, Evening Gown, Swimsuit, and Talent. Other activities include; Bike riding, tree planting, earth hour, etc ...promoting environmental awareness.

Brazilian native Larissa Ramos, the current Miss Earth, will crown her successor at the conclusion of the one and a half hour telecast. She has spent her reign travelling all over the Philippines and other countries representing the Miss Earth Foundation and championing its causes. The new Miss Earth will do the same.
