Dead Air Hollywood Movie Review: At the center of this politically charged tale is Logan Burnhardt the ego-king of the airwaves, but his unflappable persona is put to the test when a terrorist bio-attack unleashes a plague of flesh-ripping maniacs on Los Angeles. He experiences the horror first-hand as their normally wacked-out callers bombard the station with news of this very real horror spreading around them. How they come to discover the reality of the toxic invasion and ultimately choose to deal with it becomes the focus of “Dead Air,” which is just as much a character study as it is a horror film. A Howard Stern-esque rock star deejay is on for the night shift when chaos hits his home city of Los Angeles. This isn’t just your garden variety riots or 6-point-something earthquake… It’s flesh-eating zombies, and it’s up to him to guide his listeners through a brutal night of terror.
