Shah Rukh Buys a Apartment in London by 20 mn Pounds

Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan has bought a apartment in a posh area of London by 20 million pounds. Shah Rukh Khan was recently awarded a doctorate by the University of Bedfordshire for his contribution to Indian cinema.

It is a known fact that the King Khan likes to visit London every year for vacation with his family. He generally stays in the best of the hotels on his visit there, but for past few months he was eyeing an apartment in London's plush Park Lane area for himself, so that he doesn't have to stay in hotels every time. After going through many choices both him and wife Gauri ended up liking this particular place. But given its very high cost they took some while to take the final decision. Finally as he went there this time with his kids, even they liked the place a lot and he there and then decided to lock it forever.

In his recent trip to London Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has ended up finally buying the 20 million pounds apartment in Central London in the Park Lane area. It is the highest cost paid by any Bollywood star ever for a property in foreign land.

Shilpa Shetty’s IPL Team will take Tea wWith Prince Charles

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her Rajasthan Royal Indian Premier League (IPL) will goin to take tea with Prince Charles.

"I must say he (Prince Charles) still has such a sparkle in his eyes, so charming, he had a conversation with everyone in the room," Shilpa posted on her blog shilpashettylive.com.

Police Probe Complaint Against John Abraham

Bollywood superstar John Abraham may be in trouble.A city court has asked Delhi police to file a report on a complaint seeking registration of a criminal case against him. Because a few days ago he posed bold in a photograph published in a daily.

"Since the complaint alleges commission of cognisable offences under Section 292 and 294 (relating to spread of obscene material) of the Indian Penal Code, the SHO is directed to file his report within two weeks," the court said.

C.M. Dua, is running an NGO as well as the publisher and the editor of the daily. "....the lascivious, prurient and obscene acts and photographs being published and shown by established members of society and publication house... tend to corrupt young minds, which is very dangerous and suicidal for the coming generation, if not taken care of," Dua said in his petition.

He said he was appalled to find the magazine supplement of the daily dated June 11, 2009, carrying a "n*de photograph" of Abraham at the study desk of his children.
