Kangana Ranaut with her first endorsement

Finally, Kangana Ranaut has bagged her first endorsement project, and that too opposite none other than Salman Khan. Kangana has been chosen by a leading international shoes company Red Tape to endorse their brand of footwear which had been endorsed by Salman Khan so far.

Until now Red Tape manufactured footwear only for men with Salman as their ambassador. Now, the company is launching its female lineup with Kangana, who has already shot spots for hoardings and magazines and will soon be doing a TV ad with Salman Khan for the brand.

Apparently Red Tape has paid Kangana a whopping figure and has promised to enhance the amount by thirty percent in the next financial year. On being questioned about the reason for she being chosen for the brand, Kangana explains, “It was my my casual looks, I guess. The brand isn’t associated with formal shoes. Only sporty footwear, sneakers etc. They want me to endorse their shoes in my jeans and with my curly hair.”

Kangana is very excited about working with Salman, “It’s a good thought. I’m excited about the ad with Salman. I’ve always been his fan. I think he’s the only rock star in our cinema. I had watched him dance at an awards function and thought I’d be paired with him one day. It’s happening sooner than I thought.”

Speculations about Yuvi showing interest in the ‘Om Shanti Om’ girl started brewing up a little more than a month back, even as a her link –Up with Dhoni saw its peak. It is said that the couple met some time back and started to see each other. Some of the sources close to Yuvi and Deepika say that Deepika played host to Yuvi’s birthday party at Enigma on December 19th
was a sort of official declaration from the two celebrities that they are in love and will marry soon.

Yuvi has openly declared to one of his friends that their relationship was accepted by the parents of both sides and will be marrying ,sometime in April 2008.It is already known that Yuvi was in relationship with one of the sexy starts of bollwood Kim Sharma .In Fact after his break up with Kim after a 12 hours fight with her on a cruise party( According to a reliable source),he has been lonely and when he found the gorgeous OSO girl he was happy that Deepika is very much like the girl whom he would like to build a long term relationship.

Bollywood Fashion Models willing to embrace gay roles

Irfan Khan: - Fashion Star has done the seemingly unthinkable in Mira Nair's AIDS-related film "Migration". He plays an unhappily married man in a secret anguished affair with another. The film was screened at the 38th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and also on TV for World AIDS Day.
Ranbir Kapoor:- Play gay? Why not? I'd love to play any character that takes me into unexplored parts of my psyche. But first let me serenade all these lovely ladies in our movies.
Akshaye Khanna:- It would depend entirely on the script.
Manoj Bajpai:- I'd love to play a gay character if it's written well and it's part of a very good script.
Vinay Pathak:- The excitement of portraying any character lies in the strength of the character's graph and progression vis-a-vis the plot and its conflicts. How a character helps a narrative grow is what interests me the most. The cast's sexual orientation and other factors are all secondary.
Rohit Roy:- Playing gay? I don't mind at all. But it depends on the film and its director's intentions and most importantly how his sexual preference affects the film and his character. If homosexuality is intrinsic to the narrative and the director possesses the sensibilities of Mira Nair or Aparna Sen, I'd surely play gay. But I'd never play gay to titillate senseless mirth or to ridicule the gay community. My character's sexuality would have to drive the choices he makes in life, which in turn takes the picture forward.
