A young woman driver in Australia is on trial for making a false complaint against a police officer. As it happens, the woman was wearing a burka when she was pulled over by the cop, and is now defying the court to prove that she is in fact the person who made the false complaint. It’ll be interesting to see how this one turns out.In other news, an explosion that occurred yesterday in woodland near Loch Lomond in Scotland may be linked to Al Qaeda. The blast was reported to have caused extensive damage in the woods, and it is thought that jihadis may have been training in the area and testing their explosives. Police and counterterrorism officials are investigating.
